“SERVICE ABOVE SELF” AWARDS

Each year The Rotary Club of Truckee honors non-Rotarians for their contributions to our community by presenting Service Above Self Awards.  We will be presenting this year’s awards quarterly.

This is your opportunity to look around the community and recognize people who embody the characteristics of Service Above Self.  This would include people who, in their actions and deeds, personify Rotary’s Four Way Test within the Truckee community:

·        Is it the TRUTH?

·        Is it FAIR to all concerned?

·        Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER   FRIENDSHIPS?

·        Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Please limit your statement of qualifications to fifty (50) words or less.  We will not make decisions based on YOUR writing ability – just be sure to spell your nominee’s name correctly and provide an accurate phone number.

Once you have completed your nominations, please forward it to Patrick Flora or Kurtwesterlund.  Deadlines for nominations are September 15^th, December 1st, March 15^th, and June 15^th   Awards will be presented to recipients at a luncheon meeting.
